Rinse & Repeat Quilt Class

The Rinse and Repeat quilt pattern is a modern twist on the traditional Log Cabin quilt block. What makes this quilt fun it that it is a great pattern to express a mood or match your décor. You can use a group of the favorite fabrics from your stash or combine treasured scraps for a one-of-a-kind quilt.

This quilt has a large negative space, so the focus of this class is to put colors together that will help you take advantage of the space you have to get that "wow" factor. This is also an opportunity for the student to step outside their comfort zone and look at color and pattern combinations they wouldn't normally choose.

If you need help matching with something you already have, bring what you have with you and and we'll work together to choose what fabric they want to use.

The class is suited for all quilters from the confident beginner with a project or two under their belt to experienced sewists. The pattern includes instructions for four sizes:

Baby - 51" x 51"
Throw - 68" x 68"
Twin - 68" x 90"
Full/Queen - 85" x 95"

Breezy, the instructor, says “If you’re looking to step outside your color comfort zone, I’m your girl. We’ll work together to pick the right fabrics for your masterpiece, and hopefully have a grand time doing it.

Instructor Bio: I am excited to have the opportunity to work with other quilters as they create their next project. Even though I have been quilting for nearly 10 years now, I still consider myself a beginner, as I know I have so much more to learn. I?m inspired by different fabric, colors, and textures, and often have to force myself to leave the quilt shop before I get too deep into another project. My favorite fabrics are batiks because there are so many possibilities with the variations in the fabric. Beyond batiks, I am drawn to nearly anything bright with a crazy pattern. As one person said when I showed them a baby quilt I made, ?Well, they?ll never lose that quilt in the park!?
