Tee-Shirt Quilt

If you’re a collector of Tee-shirts and have many that hold special memories sitting in a drawer, you can breathe new life into them by turning them into a T-shirt quilt.

Tee-shirt quilts are a fantastic way to preserve memories or create a truly one-of-a-kind gift. They are fairly easy to make and should only take around a few hours of your time. In fact, the most time-consuming part will likely be arranging the Tee-shirt panels in a design you like.

There are no special patterns for Tee-shirt quilts; they can be as basic or as intricate as you wish. After learning to make one for yourself, these T-shirt quilts also can be great personalized gifts.

While it’s perfectly acceptable to turn your entire collection into a quilt, consider dividing your tees into themes. You might have a closet full of tees from high school or college. Maybe you've collected them from various vacation spots or concerts.

In this class you will gain experience stabilizing knit fabrics and basic quilt design.
